Here at the Golden Centre, we appreciate that keeping the kids amused can be a bit of a mission and can sometimes be quite costly. That is why we have developed the Creators’ Club for our community of shoppers and their families, proudly supported by Paper Plus.

Our aim for the Golden Centre Creators’ Club is to:

1.      Provide activities for people to make cool things for FREE.

2.      Develop themes to coincide with what is happening around us.

3.      Appeal to a wide range of ages and abilities.

4.      Create a platform for imaginations to roam free.

5.      Complement the activities with fun facts.

6.      Deliver activity options that suit people with plenty of time, as well as those with just a few minutes to spare.

Benefits of joining the Golden Centre Creators’ Club.*

1.      Every Creators’ Club member will be presented with a Creators’ Club passport.

2.      Each time a member takes part in an activity, their Creators’ Club passport will be marked with sticker.

3.      Every member will be able to take home what they have made at the Creators’ Club.

4.      Small gifts will be presented to Creators’ Club passport holders who have collected 6, 9, and 12 stickers between May 2025 and April 2026.

5.      Gifts will also be presented to members who take part in a Creators’ Club activity during the month of their birthday and present their Creators Club passport to our team.

6.      Small stocks of Creator’s Club kits will be available from Paper Plus Stationery, Golden Centre for members who could not attend the activity that month.

If you don’t fancy joining Creators’ Club but, simply want to drop in and take part in an activity on a particular day, this is absolutely fine too – EVERYONE IS VERY WELCOME.

*Creators’ Club Membership Terms and Conditions

1)               The ‘Promoter’ is Golden Centre Holdings Limited, Stafford House, 255 George Street, Dunedin 9016.

2)              Creators’ Club Mechanics

 a.              Upon completion of a Creators’ Club Membership Form by the parent or guardian of a child, the child will be presented with a Creators’ Club Passport.

 b.              The child’s name, birthday date and age will be written in the inside front cover of the Passport by a member of the Golden Centre or The Hits teams. A place is also available should the child wish to affix a photo of themselves above their name and details.

 c..             Creators’ Club events will take place within the Golden Centre on dates to be confirmed.

d.              Details of each event will be communicated via a monthly e-newsletter sent to the parents or guardians who have completed the Creators’ Club Membership Forms, in-centre posters and digital screens, www.goldencentre.co.nz, Facebook, Instagram, and, including but not limited to, The Hits radio station.

e.             Each time a child attends a Creators’ Club event, they will be invited to create an item within the Golden Centre and take it home with them afterwards. All materials will be provided free of charge.

f.               Should the child and the parent or guardian require assistance in creating the item, assistance will be provided by a member of the Golden Centre or The Hits teams.

g.             Upon completion of the item, and if the child has brought their passport with them, they will be presented with a themed sticker to be added to the respective month’s page within the Creators’ Club Passport.

h.             Upon collection of 6 (six) stickers, the child will be presented with a small gift; upon collection of 9 (nine) stickers, the child will be presented with a medium sized gift; and upon collection of 12 (twelve) or more stickers, the child will be awarded with a special gift and Creators’ Club certificate.   

i.               If a child visits a Creators’ Club event held during the month in which their birthday falls, upon presentation of their Passport, they will be presented with a small gift from the Golden Centre.

General Terms and Conditions

3)               There is no obligation to attend every Creators’ Club event to retain membership.

4)               Parents or guardians who have completed a Creators’ Club Membership Form and receive e-newsletters can unsubscribe from this service anytime.   

5)              Children who attend Creators’ Club events must always be supervised and assisted by a parent or adult guardian.

6)              Some activities may involve materials that could harm children if misused. These include, but are not limited to, choking if small parts are swallowed, health risks if small parts are placed up noses, in ears, etc, cuts from scissors, sticky tape dispensers, and parts with long and/or firm sharp edges, and risks associated with the use of glue sticks. The parent or adult guardian is responsible for deciding whether a child uses items and/or parts that could pose a risk and/or takes them home.

7)              Spaces at any Creators’ Club event are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

8)               If a child forgets to bring their Passport to a Creators’ Club event, their name can be recorded by a member of the Golden Centre or The Hits teams and a sticker for that occasion applied to the relevant page in their Passport when they next attend an event.

9)               Should a child lose their Creators’ Club Passport and they make this known to a member of the Golden Centre or The Hits team at a Creators’ Club event, a new Creators’ Club Membership Form should be completed by the parent or guardian. A replacement Passport will then be presented to the child, but any stickers collected prior this will be forfeited.  

10)            The Promoter reserves the right to refuse to award a loyalty gift or birthday gift if the Promoter decides (in its sole discretion) that the person completing the Creators’ Club Membership Form has sought to achieve unfair advantage by any means whatsoever.

11)             By completing a Creators’ Club Membership Form, the parent or guardian will be deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions and to have agreed to be bound by them.

12)            Any Creators’ Club Membership Form deemed by the Promoter to contain illegible information will result in the Membership being invalid.

13)            Failure to supply all requested information at the time of  a Creators’ Club Membership Form will result in the Membership being invalid.

14)            Personal information provided at the time of entry is presumed to be true.

15)            All Creators’ Club Membership Forms become the property of the Promoter.

16)            No responsibility will be taken for late/lost/misdirected mail, email, or any other form of communication in connection with the Creators’ Club.

17)            No Creator’s Club creations, loyalty gift or birthday gifts can be redeemed or exchanged for cash.

18)            All gifts are subject to the terms and conditions associated with the issuance and redemption of the gifts.

19)            The Promoter reserves the right to amend, vary, extend, or discontinue the Creators’ Club at any stage, for any reason.

20)            Subject to any applicable law which cannot be excluded, the Promoter and its employees are not responsible for any loss or damage whatsoever that is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for personal injury suffered or sustained during the course of participating in Creators’ Club events or using the creations or any gifts presented thereafter.

21)            Parents, Guardians, or Adults who have completed a Creators’ Club Membership Form are responsible for all other costs associated with any gifts presented.

22)            Notwithstanding anything contained within, in all circumstances, the decision of the Promoter about any aspect of the Creators’ Club is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
